Avec Les médias en France, Jean-Marie Charon nous offre un plongeon de haut vol dans la presse de l’Hexagone. Un plongeon en apnée aurait été souhaitable. Sociologue et chercheur au CNRS, l’auteur reconnaît, dès les premières lignes, que son ouvrage de 128 pages publié aux Éditions La Découverte est « inévitablement synthétique » (p. 5).
