Abstract
The use of recall of Members of Parliament (MPs) in the comparative jurisdictions of the United States and Canada and proposals for the introduction of the recall in the United Kingdom; as well as the use of 'collective recall', being a form of citizens' initiated elections, in Switzerland, Germany and Japan are discussed. The various options that are available for implementation of the same in New South Wales (NSW), Australia are highlighted.
