Abstract
Que sait-on du Nouveau Testament? Comment aborder chacun des livres qui le composent ? Cet ouvrage reproduit le texte intégral du Nouveau Testament dans la Traduction oecuménique de la Bible (TOB 2010), accompagné d'un commentaire historique, littéraire et théologique. Dix-neuf biblistes (Suisse, France, Belgique, Italie et Québec) ont été associés à cette réalisation, choisis pour leur compétence et sur un plan interconfessionnel. Les commentateurs ont été attentifs à ce qu'on pourrait appeler "le génie du texte", avec cette distance qui permet de concevoir le travail de l'auteur biblique. Les vingt-sept livres du Nouveau Testament sont reproduits dans leur version intégrale, précédés d'une introduction qui situe leur milieu historique et d'un résumé de leur contenu. Chaque passage du texte biblique est pourvu d'une explication détaillée et originale. Des notices proposent des informations complémentaires sur le contexte et sur la réception de termes, expressions ou passages significatifs.
