Abstract
Partant du constat que les parents-travailleurs d’aujourd’hui ont de plus en plus de difficulté à assumer les responsabilités professionnelles et familiales qui leur incombent, le présent article aborde, par le biais d’une recherche qualitative menée auprès de 30 parents-travailleurs : 1) les situations-problèmes vécues par les parents-travailleurs en matière de conciliation travail-famille, 2) les effets ressentis par les parents-travailleurs face à ces situations-problèmes, 3) les attentes des parents-travailleurs en regard des acteurs des sphères familiale, professionnelle, collective et gouvernementale pour en arriver à surmonter ces situations-problèmes. Les témoignages des participant(e)s y sont analysés à partir d’une approche holistique de la conciliation travail-famille, de type systémique, qui met en jeu la dialectique contraintes-ressources.
