Abstract
Cet article présente une lecture d’ensemble des différents textes que le philosophe a consacrés à l’art et à la technique de la photographie, de l’oraison funèbre dédiée à Roland Barthes (1981) à ses derniers textes brefs accompagnant Diaspora. Terres natales de l’exil de Frédéric Brenner (2003). Le texte aborde quelques-uns des motifs liés aux questions de la métonymie, du dé/montage comme dé/limitation de la représentation, de la vérité, des temporalités et espaces du développement, de la célébration et du rituel de l’art photographique. Derrida fait rarement usage de l’ekphrasis aux dépens des photographies qu’il lit ; il écrit plutôt la « graphie de la lumière », avec sa référentialité complexe, ses retours spectraux, à travers des effets et des affects déconstruits, à l’intérieur des demeures fragiles et vulnérables qu’elle illumine : telle est la différence de l’interprétation derridienne des images et de la vision.
