Abstract
Appuyé sur une enquête réalisée au sein des archives de la société de Transport de Montréal, cet article vise à interroger la production quotidienne de l’ordre propre à l’organisation du métro à Montréal. Il apparaît en effet que la régulation propre à l’espace du métro est indissociable d’une volonté d’aménager les diverses activités sociales qui se réalisent en son sein. L’ordre social, propre à cet espace, apparaît ainsi dans sa capacité à s’adapter à des activités qui, au premier abord, ne relevaient pas de la fonctionnalité du métro : assurer sans obstacle les mobilités quotidiennes.
