Le 9 janvier 1881 se tenait à Saint-Joachim, au pied du Cap Tourmente, le tout premier souper des fermiers du Séminaire de Québec, sous l’égide de Mgr Benjamin Pâquet, procureur de l’institution fondée en 1663 par le premier évêque de Québec, François de Laval.
