Abstract

The object of this work is to conceive a control law for an autopilot of a commercial aircraft, valid for all flight envelopes. The control structure consists of commutating between various controllers according to the flying conditions of the aircraft. The control method used for the concept of individual controllers is the H{sub(infinity)} synthesis. For ensuring the commutations between the different control signals, a sequential control structure by commutations of controllers (gain scheduling) is utilised.
