Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse aux modalités de la socialisation corporelle mobilisées dans le cadre de politiques publiques visant les milieux populaires. Bien que variées, ces mesures gouvernementales participent d’un ethos commun enjoignant les individus d’être « soi » et « responsables » d’eux-mêmes ainsi que de leur avenir, sur la base d’un « contrat » moral avec les responsables de ces mesures. De telles injonctions ne font pas simplement appel à la « raison » par « le retour sur soi-même ou sur sa pratique » dans le cadre d’entretiens, de stages ou de « suivis individuels » ; elles s’actualisent dans des « politiques du corps » visant à instaurer chez les individus qu’elles visent un nouveau rapport au corps et au monde.
