En esta investigacion se han analizado profundamente los esfuerzos realizados por una unidad subnacional como Quebec, que en busca de un mayor desarrollo politico, economico, social y cultural basado en el componente nacionalista, ha desarrollado su propia politica exterior. Efectivamente, el gobierno quebequense haciendo uso de las oportunidades que ofrecen las estructuras internacionales ha obtenido los recursos necesarios, carentes dentro de la Federacion, para fortalecer su proyecto de construccion nacional. De esta manera, en el primer capitulo se expondran los elementos del proyecto nacionalista de Quebec. En el segundo capitulo, se analizara la evolucion de los instrumentos de la politica exterior de Quebec desde 1960 hasta el 2006. En el tercer capitulo, se determinara la receptividad que ha tenido la politica exterior quebequense en el escenario internacional. Y en el cuarto y ultimo capitulo, se establecera la contribucion de la politica exterior quebequense al proyecto nacionalista de la Provincia. Se espera que el presente trabajo sea una contribucion a los diversos estudios que se han hecho sobre paradiplomacia y nacionalismos minoritarios. Esta investigacion se ha enfocado especialmente en analizar ambas variables de forma correlacionada con el fin de generar mas elementos academicos que faciliten la comprension y el entendimiento de las dinamicas que se desarrollan en la actualidad y la relacion que existe entre ellas.
