Abstract
La lucha antiterrorista en Canada se fundamenta en la aprehension oficial de un fenomeno dificil de definir, pasando por un andamiaje de anticipacion y prevencion de actos de violencia politica o indiscriminada. Aun cuando el compromiso del Estado pareciera radicalizarse con las medidas adoptadas, el marco normativo y las salvaguardas previstas buscan garantizar el Estado de derecho. En efecto, los mecanismos de control politico, administrativo y judicial, asi como la vigilancia de la sociedad civil, permiten equilibrar la accion estatal.
