Abstract
L’auteur introduit la notion d’après-coup appliquée à la psychanalyse de couple. Il étudie la manifestation de l’après-coup dans le contexte où un des conjoints a subi des traumas sexuels violents, par le passé, avant la constitution du couple. Un événement fortuit de la vie quotidienne provoque l’après-coup, faisant ré-émerger le trauma, du dedans. Dans le premier temps, les scènes d’agression resurgissent dans le registre du masochisme érogène, dans le désir masochiste d’être agressé. Ce premier temps sera suivi d’un deuxième effet d’après-coup où la violence sera explosive, se situant alors dans le registre sadique. Les fantasmes issus de ces mouvements deviendront les fantasmes organisateurs de la vie sexuelle du couple et infléchiront lourdement leur relation de couple.
