The International Exhibition of Children's Works having the world map as its theme (Barbara Petchenik competition) was held from 6th to 10th August 2001 in Beijing within the scope of the 20th International Cartographic Conference.Croatia has so far successfully participated at the exhibitions in Barcelona in 1995, Stockholm in 1997 and Ottawa in 1999.
