Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

For decades, the Garonne River has brought into its valleys numerous people from elsewhere and far away. The association ‘Ancrage en partage’, which publishes the journal Ancrage, founded in 2002, and in line with its objectives and bylaws, goes on developing local data archives on the migratory movements in the area. These archives are composed of written, iconographic, and audio documents. The memory of the North-African immigration has a major role. In addition to these living stories which build their memory, the local archives service, by collecting administrative records, provides a different kind of material for the writing of the history of these movements. Indeed, areas heavily impacted by immigration enable to make choices which are useful when the issues of this memory are concerned.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
