Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract This article expands on the view of D eirdre M c C loskey that the economic growth of the Western world since the end of the eighteenth century can be explained by the process of entrepreneurial change as expounded by I srael K irzner. This article argues that while K irzner's approach to economic development is indeed fruitful, it should be augmented through the study of social networks, which M c C loskey has largely ignored. When social networks are seen in the light of the K irznerian process of entrepreneurship, they represent an important institution that relays information about the proper identification and perception of opportunities.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
