Très actives dans le domaine des genres de l'imaginaire, Anne Besson et Évelyne Jacquelin proposent avec Le merveilleux entre mythe et littérature un éventail des problématiques entourant le merveilleux, le mythe et la religion.Fruits du colloque tenu en 2009, les dix-huit contributions interdisciplinaires de spécialistes tant français qu'étrangers permettent de saisir la richesse des variations épistémologiques et esthétiques du merveilleux.Une des forces de cet ouvrage réside d'ailleurs dans le fait qu'il invite le lecteur à faire des recoupements entre les époques et les lieux de productions, tout en mesurant l'évolution des relations entre le merveilleux, la religion et le mythe.Cet ouvrage solide stimulera quiconque s'intéresse au merveilleux et à ses genres connexes.
