Abstract
Dans la région métropolitaine de Guadalajara, les réformes aux politiques mexicaines de logement social des années 1990 se sont traduites par la multiplication de projets résidentiels dans des municipalités périphériques. Hacienda Santa Fe, dans Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, est l’un de ces projets. Réalisé selon le modèle des communautés fermées, il répond à une forte demande de logement abordable ; toutefois, il se déploie loin des secteurs consolidés. Dans quelle mesure le projet peut-il satisfaire ses résidants ? Sur la base d’une analyse documentaire et d’une enquête exploratoire auprès de 60 participants, cet article présente le projet Hacienda Santa Fe, ainsi que l’évaluation que les résidants en font en termes de satisfaction résidentielle. L’analyse des résultats met en évidence des niveaux de satisfaction variés en ce qui a trait aux caractéristiques du logement, du contexte immédiat et de l’ensemble du quartier, autant sur le plan physique que sur le plan social.
