O Papel dos Mediadores na Discussão Sobre o Avanço da Fronteira Agrícola da Soja na Comunidade de Corta-Corda, Santarém, Pará

Abstract
O presente estudo identifica os atores sociais envolvidos na expansão da fronteira agrícola da soja, bem como analisa o papel dos mediadores na discussão desse processo tanto a nível local como nacional. A partir do trabalho de campo e de análise da literatura pertinente, realizamos observação direta, fotografias e a aplicação de formulário com camponeses e atores sociais identificados e considerados como atores-chave. Esses recursos nos permitiram verificar que ocorrem mudanças significativas no modo de vida dos camponeses e a saída visualizada para a situação é a formação de arenas de discussão com a mediação de atores da sociedade civil, locais e nacionais, que debatem, apontam saídas e buscam consensos para os conflitos decorrentes da expansão da fronteira agrícola da soja no âmbito da chamada esfera pública.
