Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This article presents the top 25 cities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, with bus rapid transit (BRT) projects for 2007. The estimated capital costs for the 32 projects average $154.6 million each, with a combined total of $4.9 billion. The article notes that of the respondents to the survey, 44 percent power their BRT systems with clean diesel, 28 percent with hybrid-electric, 15 percent with CNG, 2.5 percent with fuel cells, and 10.5 percent with undisclosed or LNG sources. Agencies listed have purchased a total of 485 BRT vehicles in 2007, with 94 percent of all projects using low-floor vehicles. Some highlights listed include the launch of Eugene, Oregon's Lane Transit District's EmX service, the West Covina California Foothill Transit's Silver Streak Line, and the Orange County, California's Transportation Authority's new BRT CNG-powered venture.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
