Adding multi wall carbon nanotubes to Mg 2 Si 0.877 Ge 0.1 Bi 0.023 led to an increased power factor via energy filtering as well as a lowered thermal conductivity via increased phonon scattering, and thus an enhanced thermoelectric performance.
