A presença do argumento ecológico em anúncios publicitários em três revistas de circulação nacional

O processo de industrialização e o decorrente progresso econômico têm sido buscadosincessantemente pela sociedade, e, nessa busca, os recursos naturais têm sido utilizados como se fossem infinitos. O consumidor é ator de transformação, já que tem em suas mãos o poder de exigir um padrão de desenvolvimento socialmente justo e ambientalmente adequado, através do consumo consciente. Uma das formas mediante as quais o consumidor pode ter acesso às atividades exercidas pelas corporações é através do marketing verde. Assim, objetivamos verificar, em algumas peças publicitárias, se e como as empresas utilizam argumentos ecológicos em sua publicidade. Três revistas de circulação nacional foram analisadas: ÉPOCA, da Editora Globo; Isto É, da Três, e Veja, da Abril. Foram analisados 142 anúncios publicitários e a categoria Transporte possuiu o maior número de anúncios publicitários com argumentos ecológicos (58,82%), visto que tais anúncios se fazem acompanhar do selo do Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente. Entretanto, isso ocorre devido à obrigação legal determinada pela Resolução CONAMA Nº 18, de 6 de maio de 1986. Nossos resultados podem, portanto, auxiliar todas as empresas a buscarem melhores relacionamentos com seus públicos e a valorizarem suas ações de responsabilidade sócioambiental.
