Abstract
Cet article dresse un portrait des revendications présentées par la communauté inuit du Nunavik devant la Commission du Nunavik — créée en 1999 par le gouvernement québécois —, notamment en ce qui concerne la protection de la langue inuttitut, la culture et l’environnement. Il tente ainsi de démontrer l’immense défi que représente la volonté de cette communauté de prendre en charge le développement économique de sa région sans sacrifier ses traditions et valeurs ancestrales.
