Abstract
O condutor protnico zirconato de brio dopado com trio (BaZr 1-x Y x O 3-, BZYx) um material promissor para a aplicao como eletrlito slido em clulas a combustvel operacional em temperaturas intermedirias (400 a 700 o C). No entanto, sua natureza refratria (ponto de fuso ~ 2600 o C) faz com que para sua densificao, necessria para sua aplicao como eletrlito, sejam necessrios altas temperaturas e longos tempos de tratamento trmico (1600 a 1800 o C por 24 a 48 h).
