Los Telecentros en la ciudad de Manizales, Colombia, fueron una iniciativa del gobierno local y se integraron a los planes de desarrollo constituyéndose en un proyecto que contribuía a los propósitos locales para hacer de la ciudad una sociedad del conocimiento; este reto ha convocado a los alcaldes de diferentes vigencias a dar continuidad a la articulación de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación a los procesos de desarrollo social de Manizales.
