Abstract
O artigo apresenta a trajetória de uma longa experiência de ensino, pesquisa e trabalho associativo no Brasil, relatando os elementos em jogo na passagem de uma perspectiva interdisciplinar para uma perspectiva cujo enfoque seriam as relações transversais Brasil-Canadá. O objetivo é mostrar como a pesquisa sobre cultura e literatura no âmbito dos estudos canadenses e comparados se integra às relações transamericanas. O objetivo principal do artigo é o de inscrever-se na reflexão sobre as Américas plurais, apontando a contribuição dos estudos canadenses desenvolvidos no Brasil nos últimos 30 anos.Résumé: Cet article fait le point sur une longue expérience d’enseignement, de recherche et de travail associatif au Brésil, ainsi que sur les éléments en jeu dans le passage d’une perspective interdisciplinaire à celle des relations transversales Brésil/Canada. Elle vise à montrer comment les recherches sur la culture et la littérature dans le cadre des études canadiennes et comparées s’intègrent dans les relations transaméricaines. L’objectif est de s’inscrire dans la réflexion sur les Amériques plurielles en étudiant la contribution des études canadiennes développées au Brésil dans les 30 dernières années.Mots-clés: études canadiennes; perspectives transaméricaines; Amériques plurielles.Abstract: The article presents the course of a long teaching, research and associative work experience in Brazil, reporting the elements that play a role in the shift from one interdisciplinary perspective to another whose focus would be the transversal relations between Brazil and Canada. The objective is to show how research on culture and literature in the scope of Canadian and comparative studies integrates to the trans-American relationships. The main objective of the article is to be inserted in the plural Americas reflection, pointing to the contributions of Canadian studies developed in Brazil for the last 30 years.Keywords: canadian studies; trans-american perspectives; plural Americas.
