Abstract
L’oeuvre romanesque de Réjean Ducharme est un vivier de thèmes multiples. L’auteur y procède en effet à une valorisation de son discours romanesque « actuel » en le mettant en relation avec d’autres discours « absents ». Mais en même temps il installe une encyclopédie dans ses romans au regard de la diversité des thèmes exploités. Nous avons choisi pour illustrer l’encyclopédisme de Réjean Ducharme, L’avalée des avalés et Gros Mots qui affichent de manière éloquente la dialectique du commun et du singulier propre à la littérature francophone contemporaine.
