Abstract
L’objectif de cet article est de mieux comprendre les enjeux politiques et pragmatiques de la reconnaissance des acquis expérientiels en formation générale, à partir des Univers de compétences génériques, un dispositif québécois récent, et de dégager des défis que celui-ci pose au système éducatif. Les résultats sont issus d’entrevues auprès d’adultes ayant obtenu une reconnaissance officielle au niveau secondaire (n = 13) et d’intervenantes (n = 5) de deux commissions scolaires. Les enjeux documentés relèvent de l’accès à l’information, ainsi que du travail d’identification et d’évaluation des acquis. Ce dispositif pose d’importants défis, dont celui d’une mise en oeuvre cohérente avec la perspective d’apprentissage tout au long de la vie.
