Este texto retracta uma experiencia de trabalho em parceria no âmbito do RMG. O grande numero de beneficiarios dessa Medida e a existencia de problematicas de dificil intervencao levou o Nucleo Executivo da Comissao Local de Acompanhamento de Odivelas a constituir grupos de trabalho e de reflexao por problematicas especificas. Do grupo dos individuos e/ou familias com problematica de alcoolismo nasceu a ideia de trabalho por Projecto designado Viver de Novo. Procurou-se a articulacao com servicos da especialidade e nasceu a ideia de equipa comunitaria . Com o objectivo de conhecer para melhor intervir foi elaborado um estudo de investigacao que procurou caracterizar os beneficiarios de RMG com problematica de alcoolismo, no Concelho de Odivelas, entre Fevereiro/ 97 e Abril/2000. As conclusoes dai resultantes e aqui apresentadas constituem um ponto de partida para o amadurecimento dessa mesma experiencia.
