"Introduction: à l'heure actuelle, le julakan -contrairement au français- ne parvient pas à rendre compte, de façon efficace et précise, de certaines réalités dans le domaine de la santé, même si cellesci sont, par exemple, des maladies qui existent dans le milieu où cette langue est en usage. Objectif: contribuer à l'enrichissement du julakan ou, à tout le moins, susciter cet enrichissement qui permettrait de faire de cette langue un instrument efficace de communication et de transfert de connaissances. Méthode: analyse contrastive de la nomenclature du julakan en médecine traditionnelle et de la nomenclature du français en médecine moderne. Résultats: la comparaison effectuée montre que s'il y a des équivalences entre les notions de ces deux langues, il y a également des situations de quasi-équivalence et de vides terminologiques susceptibles d'entraîner des problèmes au niveau de la communication et dans la prise en charge des malades. Conclusions: face à cette réalité, le présent article suggère des solutions spécifiques pour chaque cas problématique identifié. De plus, de nouveaux termes sont proposés pour, à la fois, combler des vides terminologiques et enrichir la nomenclature du julakan de la santé."
