Abstract
L’un des enjeux majeurs du conseil en orientation est d’amener le consultant à développer de nouvelles manières d’interpréter son parcours afin de construire des anticipations de soi relatives à une orientation qui donne du sens à sa vie. Ce défi sera examiné dans cet article à travers deux études empiriques fondées sur le modèle théorique de la « construction de soi ». Conduites dans le cadre de dispositifs d’aide à l’employabilité des diplômés du doctorat, ces études explorent les freins liés aux anticipations construites pendant le doctorat et le rôle que pourrait jouer le conseil en orientation dans la reconstruction et la mise en perspectives de ces anticipations.
