Abstract
La prise de decision constitue une activite quotidienne inherente a la fonction des directions d’ecole. Or, les etudes demontrent que ces dernieres eprouvent des difficultes dans ce domaine. Notre recherche vise a comprendre le processus de la prise de decision complexe chez les directions d’ecole de langue francaise de l’Ontario. La theorie de prise de decision de Simon (1960) et le modele de leadership educationnel en milieu linguistique minoritaire de Lapointe (2002) servent de cadre de reference. Notre recherche, de type qualitatif, a permis d’interroger trois categories d’acteurs de l’education. Les resultats revelent, entre autres, que le cadre d’imputabilite et le travail en communaute d’apprentissage professionnelle dans les ecoles ontariennes ont une grande influence sur le processus de prise des decisions chez les directions d’ecole.
