Angka harapan hidup manusia meningkat dari waktu ke waktu. Hal ini diikuti dengan meningkatnya penyakit rematik yang akan mempengaruhi tingkat kesehatan dan kualitas hidup manusia sehingga mengakibatkan peningkatan biaya kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengaruh pemberian Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) dengan penambahan latihan isotonik Quadriceps lebih efektif menurunkan nyeri pada Osteoarthritis Knee. Penelitian ini dilakukan dibagian instalasi rehabilitasi poli fisioterapi Rst.Dr.Soedjono magelang selama 3 minggu. \nPenelitian ini menggunakan jenis quasi exsperimental dengan menggunakan desain two group pre and post-test design. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 16, dengan 8 subyek sebagai kelompok control dan 8 subyek sebagai kelompok perlakuan. Dalam penelitian ini pengukuran tingkat nyeri menggunakan skala kuesioner McGill. \nData yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal, uji statistic menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk Test. Hasil uji pengaruh menggunakan uji paired sample t-test pada kelompok kontrol yang terdiri dari nilai sensoris, afektif, VAS, PPI dapat diketahui nilai P 0,000, P < 0,05 berarti data signifikan. Dan pada kelompok perlakuan yang terdiri dari nilai sensoris, afektif, VAS, PPI dapat diketahui p 0,000, p < 0,05, berarti data signifikan. Hasil uji beda pengaruh menggunakan uji independent sample test pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan yang terdiri dari nilai sensoris, afektif, VAS, PPI dapat diketahui bahwa P 0.007, 0.000, 0.022, 0,032, P < 0,05, berarti data signifikan. Artinya, ada perbedaan pengaruh antara pemberian tens dengan pemberian tens dan penambahan latihan pembebanan isotonik terhadap penurunan nyeri osteoartritis knee. Dengan demikian pemberian Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) dengan penambahan latihan isotonik Quadriceps lebih efektif menurunkan nyeri pada Osteoarthritis Knee.
