Abstract
Cet article propose un modèle de la formation des disciplines scientifiques en milieu universitaire. La construction de ce modèle se veut aussi une critique et une contre-proposition à l'usage courant des notions de "profession" et de "professionnalisation" qui sont impuissantes à faire ressortir la spécificité du processus de formation des disciplines scientifiques en milieu universitaire. En utilisant des exemples empruntés à différentes disciplines, nous montrons comment, à chacune des étapes de la formation des disciplines, l'institution universitaire s'est transformée.
