Analyse de contenu de plans de travail : vers la responsabilisation des élèves ?

Abstract
En France, le recours aux manuels scolaires est prépondérant dans les établissements, mais aucun d’eux ne propose de se référer aux plans de travail. Si les plans de travail sollicitent la responsabilisation et l’autonomie des élèves, quels rapprochements avec les manuels contribueraient à densifier l’activité cognitive des élèves ? Cette étude consiste à proposer une analyse de contenu d’un corpus de 52 plans de travail issus de classes primaires, enrichie d’une quinzaine d’observations de situations pédagogiques et d’une trentaine d’entretiens d’enseignants. Le croisement de ces données permet de proposer plusieurs pistes pour une évolution des manuels scolaires vers une responsabilisation accrue des élèves.
