Berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 109 Tahun 2012 , pencantuman label peringatan pada kemasan rokok diwajibkan di negeri ini. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh label peringatan pada perilaku konsumen serta dampaknya pada keinginan untuk berhenti merokok. Studi ini melibatkan 160 orang perokok sebagai responden. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi demarketing ini tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada perilaku konsumen, namun secara parsial berpengaruh pada salah satu faktor perilaku. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa label peringatan tersebut lebih ditangkap oleh perokok remaja dibandingkan dengan perokok dewasa. Kata Kunci: Demarketing, Label Peringatan Pada Kemasan Rokok, Perilaku Konsumen, Keinginan Berhenti Merokok Based on the Indonesian Government Regulation No. 109 of 2012, the inclusion of tobacco package warning labels are required in this country. This study discusses the effect of tobacco package warning labels on attitude of smokers and its effects on their intention to quit smoking. This study involved 160 smokers as respondents. The result shows that demarketing strategy doesn’t influence on the overall smokers’ attitude, but partially affects on one of the attitude. Furthermore, this research found that tobacco package warning labels are more exposed to adolescent smokers than the adults.
