Abstract
Les desastres survenus un peu partout dans le monde ont fait croitre l’interet porte aux interventions psychosociales en situation d’urgence. Les impacts psychologiques des desastres et l’importance de la composante psychosociale dans les plans de reponse en situation d’urgence sont souvent sous-estimes. Cet article met en lumiere le caractere essentiel des dimensions psychosociales dans un plan global de reponse aux situations d’urgence. Il decrit et analyse les impacts psychologiques des desastres, discute des interventions a mettre en œuvre aux differentes phases du deroulement des evenements, et degage des perspectives en matiere d’intervention psychosociale. A titre illustratif, il presente aussi le portrait de l’organisation des services sociosanitaires mis en place dans le cadre des mesures d’urgence en securite civile au Quebec.
