Abstract
Quebec provincia canadiense, es la entidad más grande y la segunda más poblada del país, la cultura francesa es predominante y desde hace varias décadas parte significativa Hasta el momento, se han celebrado dos procesos referendarios, en los que la fórmula victoriosa ha sido la que mantiene el vínculo con Canadá, aunque con estrechos márgenes de triunfo. El trabajo analiza el papel de Quebec en la federación canadiense, y el impacto que la independencia provisional traería consigo en diferentes rubros, tanto para Quebec como para el resto de Canadá.
