Abstract
Le présent article voudrait justement jeter une lumière sur quelques stratégies adoptées par Édouard Glissant pour sortir du désarroi sociohistorique causé par la pensée de système. Il s’agit de montrer comment la reconfiguration glissantienne du monde passe par un ébranlement de catégories et de disciplines liées au déploiement de la métaphysique de l’Un en tant que ce dernier est opposé à la Diversité et, donc, à la Relation. On verra ainsi que la problématisation des notions d’Histoire et de Littérature, pour faire émerger les histoires et les littératures, est aussi une remise en question de la métaphysique de l’Un au profit d’une philosophie de la Relation. Autrement dit, la poétique de la relation est inséparable d’un réinvestissement de l’histoire, de la littérature et de la philosophie, surtout telle que celle-ci est incarnée par Hegel et sa philosophie de l’histoire.
