Abstract
Musées et expositions virtuels sont-ils synonymes de musées et d’expositions en ligne ? Pourquoi certains chercheurs préconisent-ils l’emploi des désignations cybermusée et cyberex position ? Peut-on considérer ces productions médiatiques comme étant de nouveaux objets culturels ? En quoi le sont-ils ? En plus de proposer des réponses à ces questions, cet article met de l’avant un certain appareil critique, permettant ainsi d’appréhender l’étude d’un corpus cybermuséal précis. La cybermuséologie, spécialisation de la muséologie contemporaine, commande une réflexion certaine. Celle-ci est souhaitable, voire nécessaire pour envisager toute production relative à ce domaine.
