Abstract
La sociologie a souvent intégré la dimension temporelle à ses recherches comme une variable, mais a rarement choisi de s’intéresser au temps spécifiquement. En tant que représentation sociale instituée, pleine de l’histoire de notre société, le temps est pourtant un objet socioanthropologique qui permet de saisir les enjeux contemporains et les rapports de dominations capitalistes. Nous proposons ici un regard sur les évolutions du rapport au temps afin d’expliquer en quoi le temps est une institution. Nous proposerons ensuite une lecture contemporaine du phénomène (l’anomie temporelle) face à l’individualisation et l’hypernomie. Nous proposerons enfin de nouveaux outils pour saisir les temps contemporains. Ces outils sont construits sur une perspective critique héritée à la fois de l’École Française de Socioanthropologie et de l’hétérodoxie marxiste. La perspective vise à pointer les possibilités sociales d’opposer au temps institué un temps instituant, dans une dialectique acteur-système. Derrière cette communication, c’est le programme d’une recherche en cours qui se dévoile.
