Abstract
En los últimos 30 años los diseñadores y creadores italianos han hecho uso del arteexperimentando combinaciones y citas de obras de arte pertenecientes a diferentes períodosy épocas. Esto no es nada nuevo en la historia de la moda. Hace más de un siglo, a inicios delsiglo XX, la sastre Rosa Genoni ganó un premio en la Exposición de Milán, proponiendo vestidos inspirados en las obras de Pisanello y Botticelli como buen ejemplo y excelente banderade una nueva moda italiana. Durante las últimas décadas, numerosos son los usos del arte enel diseño de ropa, más o menos conscientes, más o menos explícitos. En este trabajo se analizarán estos últimos a partir de algunos casos de estudio, Alberta Ferretti y Franco Moschino,pertenecientes al grupo AEFFE, con el fin de examinar el papel del arte en el proceso creativoen la moda italiana.
