Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract: The educational system in Canada has been evoluing over almost four centuries. As a matter of fact, the Canadian institutions are heavily supported by public funds. The university funding system, in particular, is facing disquieting dilemmas concerning investments, at the macro and micro-level as well. In the actual economic setting, universities are facing stronger impacts. New paradigms for the university management seem to be inevitably applicable. For a country used to the public system model, like Canada, concerns around the sustainability of the educational funding, particularly for H.Ed., have been motivating big discussions and hot debates. Following, we show what is on the spot.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
