The article covers the productive experience of civic education in stable democracy countries for the purpose of establishment of useful analogies and creation of atmosphere of civic legal partnership in present Russian school. Historical aspect of civic education in Canada is a subject of research, because some unique features of Canada political life serve as a factor and a background for development of civic education.
