Abstract
Cet ouvrage collectif se propose de montrer comment l'astrologie et l'alchimie, relgues de nos jours parmi les sciences occultes , ont jou pourtant un rle important dans les sicles passs et notamment au dbut de l'ge moderne. La premire partie de ce volume se propose, travers sept tudes sur des auteurs particulirement reprsentatifs [ch. 1--7], d'analyser les caractristiques de l'astrologie et de l'alchimie ainsi que leurs rapports dialectiques (quand il y en avait) au dbut de l'ge moderne en Europe. La deuxime partie [ch. 8], aborde la question de l'historiographie de l'alchimie et en montre la situation paradoxale, qui porte encore de nos jours les stigmates de l'occultisme du XIX e sicle.
