Abstract
Selon certaines etudes, la proportion d’etudiants depressifs aurait double en 13 ans et celle d’etudiants suicidaires aurait triple. Les auteurs ont mene une etude aupres de 389 etudiants quebecois en premiere annee d’etudes superieures pour identifier les facteurs susceptibles d’expliquer la presence de symptomes depressifs. Les resultats obtenus peuvent eclairer les decideurs concernant les programmes de prevention et de traitement de la depression a mettre en place pour les jeunes adultes en contexte scolaire.
