Le choix du non renvoi des adolescents placés en institution nécessite un modèle de thérapie institutionnelle que nous tentons de préciser. Ce non renvoi vise à corriger une histoire de ruptures et de placements multiples, mais il risque de devenir un mythe rigidifié s’il se fait à tout prix, sans tenir compte des limites du placement. L’équipe pluridisciplinaire du Tamaris s’implique dans les relations de la vie quotidienne en s’appuyant sur les axes anthropologiques de l’espace et du temps vécus, sur le travail avec les familles, sur la différenciation des fonctions d’autorité, du tiers mandant et des collaborations en réseau. Des outils spécifiques comme la réunion d’équipe ou la palabre sont mis en œuvre.
