Abstract
Une étude canadienne récente (2011-2012) a permis d’explorer la concordance entre les besoins et les interventions de participation d’aînés en perte d’autonomie recevant des services d’aide à domicile. Les besoins non satisfaits concernent principalement les activités sociales (responsabilités, relations interpersonnelles, vie communautaire et loisirs) et certaines activités courantes (condition corporelle, habitation, déplacements). Plusieurs constats permettent d’expliquer cette non-concordance qui limite la participation et l’ empowerment des aînés fragilisés.
