Abstract
En Irak, avec l'invasion américaine, l'entrée de femmes dans le travail journalistique a contribué à l'émergence de nouvelles formes de violence spécifique envers celles-ci. À partir de rapports d'organisations internationales, de recherches et de témoignages, l'auteur met en lumière les différents aspects de cette violence, dans une société où la tradition patriarcale, la mouvance islamiste et les conflits ethnoconfessionnels complexifient l'exercice de cette profession. Cependant, cette violence indique précisément l'acquisition par les Irakiennes travaillant dans le domaine journalistique de nouvelles formes de pouvoir, et même les transformations de la représentation de leur place dans l'espace public par les franges les plus traditionnalistes de la société irakienne.
