Solubility: benzene, toluene, and acetone. Purification: column chromatography on silica gel. Handling, Storage, and Precautions: to help prevent decomposition during extended storage, the reagent should be kept under a nitrogen atmosphere and refrigerated at ∼ −15 °C. No data on toxicity. Incompatible with oxidizing agents.
