Abstract
RésuméLa crise que traverse l’identité nationale du Mexique à la fin du xxe siècle est comparée à celle qui frappe les États-Unis d’Amérique à la même époque. Le déclin de l’idéologie révolutionnaire mexicaine, la fin d’un État métis et la revendication d’un pluralisme culturel illustrée par les objectifs des rebelles du Chiapas ont pour contrepoint nord-américain la mise en question du melting-pot au nom d’un multiculturalisme qui serait plus adapté à la diversité des États-Unis.
